Reserve Grand Champion PCF Trish- Dixie

Sweet Dixie came to us from Brenda Eldridge, former AKKPS President, and Piney Creek Farm in Arkansas. This pretty Trish sow is sweet natured, an excellent mother and has excellent conformation with especially correct feet, legs and pasterns. She is especially pretty and has a lovely classic head. At the IKHR Heartland Show 2022, she won Reserve Champion Trish Specialty Class, Reserve Champion Senior Yearling Sow and CHAMPION Classic Head! This is what judge Matt Rohrig had to say about her: “This sow offers a bunch of quality, we can appreciate the head and neck on her. She’s really thick and dimensional, stout, but she also has a broody good look to her. She balances up nice, is deep in her body and broody in her look. She’s a really nice champion.” Dixie also impressed Senior International judge John Earney who awarded her two titles at the 2022 EKPA/AKKPS International Futurity. She took CHAMPION Senior Yearling Sow and RESERVE GRAND CHAMPION over the entire show behind the Supreme Champion Sow!!! Judge Earney remarked, “I love this sow! She has got depth, is nice and level along the back with a nice head. She is beautiful, a good old fashioned type, she is like poetry in motion.”
